Hell of a Racket

Hell of a Racket is an arena based FPS game where instead of a traditional gun, you use a tennis racket that you can use to reflect projectiles back at enemies. This game was my senior capstone project at the University of Utah, where a team of 28 of us came together to develop this game in Unreal Engine 5 over the course of seven months. The game was successful enough to be featured in an article by Polygon and the Escapist.

I worked as the UI/UX Designer on the project, developing the HUD, the menus, settings, and player feedback. My ultimate goal with this game was to make it as accessible of an FPS game as possible, and so every element of design went into that accessibility focus.
